Shipping policy

WHERE WE SHIP
- We currently ship within Canada only using Chit Chats Select, a tracked courier service.
- We do not ship to PO boxes, letter carrier depots, or rural-route (RR) addresses through Chit Chats Select. 
- If your address falls into one of these excluded categories, we’ll contact you to discuss options (e.g. alternate address or order cancellation).
PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIMES
- Processing: Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days (excluding holidays, weather delays, etc.)
- In-Transit: Chit Chats Select estimates 2–14 business days for delivery across Canada.
- These delivery windows are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- Delays from carriers, weather, strikes, or capacity issues are out of our control.
TRACKING AND RISK
- Once your order is handed to Chit Chats, we’ll provide a tracking number so you can follow it.
- Title and risk of loss pass to you once the package is accepted by the carrier.
- If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive your package, first check with your local postal or last-mile courier. We cannot guarantee reimbursement for packages lost after delivery confirmation.
SHIPPING COSTS
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your address.

We use averaged flatrates by region using Chit Chats’ shipping estimates. Most orders fall into these ranges (all prices CAD):
- Western Canada: $7.50+
- Ontario & Quebec: $10+
- Atlantic Canada: $10.50+
- Territories (NWT, YT): $10.50+
- We aim to always use the lowest available tracked rate via Chit Chats Select, but depending on your exact location, your checkout rate may be slightly higher than these averages.
- Because Chit Chats service includes surcharges (such as fuel) those may appear in the breakdown of cost. 
RESHIPMENTS & INCORRECT ADDRESSES
- You are responsible for entering the correct shipping address at checkout.
- If a package is returned because of an incorrect address you provided, you may be charged an additional shipping fee to resend it
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse reshipment requests in edge cases.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll assess and work to make it right (replacement or alternative) at our discretion.
CHANGES TO SHIPMENT POLICY
- We reserve the right to update our shipping rates, methods, delivery zones, or related terms at any time.
- Any changes will be posted here and take effect immediately for new orders.
